Return or Exchange Policy


Thirty Day Return or Exchange for jewelry:  To ensure you have enough time to consider your purchase, Nicolle’s Jewelry Designs offers a thirty (30) day return and exchange guarantee for *online orders.  Customers may return any item purchased online other than custom order items, special order items, engraved items or altered items unless there is a manufacturing defect within 15 days from the original date of shipment of the merchandise for a full refund or exchange less any shipping charges paid by Nicolle’s Jewelry Designs. Shipping charges previously paid by the customer at the time of purchase are non-refundable. Customer may return any item other than custom order items, special order items, or altered items after 15 days from the original date of shipment and until 30 days from the original date of shipment of the merchandise for a 10% restocking fee, unless otherwise stated to you in writing. Please read this entire policy prior to purchase.

In the event that a customer decides to exchange an item, the exchange must be made within the 30 day exchange period from the date of shipment. The exchange of an item does not extend the original return and exchange policy and the customer should be fully aware that any such right to return or exchange will expire after the 30th day of the date of the original shipment.

Due to the specific nature of a custom-made item, special order item, and/or altered item, we are unable to refund or accept returns of any such items. Alterations on stocked items such as sizing or any customization made by your request are non-refundable and non-returnable.

The merchandise must be in new and unused and unworn condition with all attached tags accompanied by the original sales receipt, appraisal and accompanying grading reports. Any promotional item such as a free gift with the purchase of an item or additional items must also be returned in the same condition described above. Nicolle’s Jewelry Designs will not accept any item for return unless all of the procedures and conditions are met.


All loose (not mounted) Diamonds and Colored Gemstones must be returned or exchanged within 10 days from the original date of shipment.


When you purchase a gemstone (mounted or not), we ship it to you with any accompanying gemstone grading report or certificate. These grading reports are detailed documents created by gemstone grading experts & are expensive to replace. Because of this, we require each certificate to be included with each return. If you do not include the original certificate with your return, you will be charged a replacement fee of $200.

If you need to return any item to Nicolle’s Jewelry Designs, simply follow these few simple steps:


1. Firstly, you will need to email or call Nicolle’s Jewelry Designs at 540-622-2647 and request a return merchandise authorization number.  No returns will be accepted unless the package clearly shows a valid return authorization number. Once you have received your RMA#, please address your package to the address provided by Nicolle’s Jewelry Designs:

2. Please be sure to fully insure any package and do not write anything on the package such as (Jewelry or gems) when shipping as we cannot be responsible for loss or damage while the merchandise is in transit to us. Please be aware we will accept and it must be delivered and received in our office within the stated return window. Any items received after the return window will be refused delivery.


3. When the item is received, it will be inspected by our quality control. Please note that any item that has signs of wear, is custom engraved or that has been altered in any way other than by Nicolle’s Jewelry Designs cannot be returned under any circumstances. We cannot be responsible for any item until it is received at our office. Please be aware that custom orders and special orders are non-refundable.


4. Please be aware that if the returned merchandise does not meet all of the conditions that qualify for a return, you will be charged additional shipping fees to cover the cost to return the item(s) to you.


5. Once your return has been accepted in good & satisfactory condition, a credit will be issued. Those that have paid by PayPal will only be refunded to the original accounts debited, credit card to the original card only, or a check issued and mailed via USPS to those who have paid by check to the original purchaser. Please allow 7 business days from the date of receipt for us to process your credit. Nicolle’s Jewelry Designs cannot be held responsible for any delay due to mail delivery.


6. Any customer that returns any item in accordance with the 30 day period will not be eligible to purchase the exact same item within any subsequent 30 day period. Our return policy is quite transparent and any attempt to circumvent the spirit of this agreement will not be permitted.
